How to export files from AbleCommerce?

As AbleCommerce has some peculiarities, you will need to upload source data during migration. Therefore, exporting data from your store's back end is necessary. This guide outlines how to export your data for a smooth shopping cart migration with Cart2Cart.

Exporting Data from AbleCommerce Gold for Migration

If you are using AbleCommerce Gold, follow these steps to export your data in CSV format for your data migration:

1. Go to your AbleCommerce admin panel and log in.
2. Proceed to Data -> Export.

3. To export products and variants, choose "Products/Variants" from the dropdown menu. Then, click the download icon next to the appropriate field to export the data.

4. To export orders from your AbleCommerce store, click "Orders." Export the CSV file by selecting the icon in front of the required field.

5. To export your users list as a CSV file, go to "Users" and click the download icon.

Exporting Data from AbleCommerce 7.x for Migration

If you are using AbleCommerce 7.x, you'll need to install AbleCommerce DataPort from the official AbleCommerce website. Then, follow these steps to export the necessary data in CSV format for your data migration.

1. Connect to your store's admin panel via the DataPort software.

2. Paste your store's URL address and press "Next."

3. Name your current connection, provide your store's User Name and Password, and press "Finish."

4. Once connected to your store's data, download the required files and save them to a easily accessible folder.
   Note: Ensure you select CSV format when downloading the source files.

5. Return to the Migration Wizard and upload all required data to the corresponding fields.
